Nice Little Cafe For Breakfast In Yellowstone.
Considering most of the places to eat al Yellowstone are pretty rough this place was actually pretty decent.
Our waitress was from another country and was very polite.
We ordered the Mountaineer Breakfast. The food was good and sent us back on our merry hiking all day way.... -

Pretty good place to have a restaurant by a store. This place is a burger joint and reminds me of an old diner type style, which is what it is supposed to be. They do have a plastic straw policy; ehh not policy.. if you ask for it they'll give it to you. It doesn't go with it, WHICH is good for the environment.
Food is really delicious and cooked to perfection. The burger is medium-well and the fries were perfect. They do get out your meals VERY QUICKLY! Expect about a 5-7 minute wait time.
If you're shopping near lunchtime or dinner, you should eat there. Big thumbs up -

We stopped in looking for a different restaurant but it was closed. We had to wait about 10-15 minutes but were given a pager so that we could shop in the store.
Once we were buzzed, we were seated right away. Our server was friendly and we ordered the Bison Burger, two BBQ Burgers, and honestly I can't remember what my Mom ended up getting. The food came out fairly fast for how busy they were.
The Bison Burger was very dry and lacked any flavor (it was not my first time eating a bison burger), my husband and father didn't care for their burgers either. The fries that came with all of them were horrible; they were not warm and when I bit into them they were partially hollow inside.. I was like WTF??
Overall not a great place unless you are starving and even then you should probably get something from their store to go! Shopping was fun though! -

Great stopping point on our way through Yellowstone. We got seated quickly. It is setup like a diner so no private tables. That was fine.we ordered burgers and chicken sandwich. Burgers didn't taste great. My chicken bun was rock hard. Service was great but food was just lacking.

The food isn't anything special, but when your in a national park, your choices are limited, and this is what is good. This is the best place to eat in all of Yellowstone. It is especially good if you are with kids and wanting breakfast, lunch or dinner. A family of 4 can eat here for $33 (which seems to be the average cost, no matter where you eat) and actually feel somewhat satisfied and not like money was wasted because no one ate the "stuff" they ordered. So unless you brought all of your own food, plan to be here daily.
